Context and objective
The client wanted to modernize the homepage and align the look with a specific inspiration, maintaining some elements that already worked. There was also a desire to expand the brand's reach by creating a women’s line that did not previously exist, adding new products to the basic t-shirt portfolio.
The challenge
One of the biggest challenges was dealing with the AI-generated product images, which seemed artificial and misaligned with the brand's concept. To solve this, it was necessary to recreate hyper-realistic photos using AI techniques (such as Gemini and adjustments with Nano Banana) to achieve lighting and textures consistent with real pieces. It was also necessary to reorganize the website's structure to accommodate the new women’s category without compromising the visual identity.
What was implemented
I introduced a new layout both on the homepage and throughout the rest of the site, adapting the structure to maintain the functionalities that the client liked. I recreated the images to make them more natural and refined, adjusting light, shadow, and context, which elevated the visual quality of the products. The new interface was designed to be clean and modern, with a neutral color palette and well-distributed spaces, highlighting each t-shirt. The creation of the women’s line included new pages, categories, and navigation adjustments to accommodate the extra products harmoniously.
Result
The final look was clean and modern, in harmony with the brand's basic t-shirts. The hyper-realistic images conveyed more credibility and improved the perception of the products, while the new layout brought freshness and usability. The creation of the women’s line expanded the catalog and opened up new sales opportunities, consolidating Essenc as a versatile and updated brand.
