Mundo Catnip

Context and objective

The store used an old theme with an amateurish look and needed a redesign to convey more professionalism and affection for feline products. The goal was to elevate the look to something more modern and aligned with the brand manual, without losing the joy and playful identity of the pet segment.

The challenge

The available kitten photos had homemade, far-from-neutral backgrounds, which made compositions difficult. It was necessary to find a visual solution that accommodated these images without breaking the harmony of the layout. Working with strong colors and feline patterns required creativity to avoid visual pollution or mischaracterizing the brand.

What was implemented

The base of the store was maintained in a pre-existing theme, and from this structure I made a series of improvements in HTML and CSS to adapt every detail to the identity of Mundo Catnip. I created modern banners taking advantage of the patterns, logos and vectors of the brand manual, and used vibrant tones inspired by the love for cats to play with bar sections and newsletter. The customizations ensured that each element reflected the essence of the brand, even within a standard theme.

Result

The result was a modern online store, with a striking look, true to the brand’s affectionate essence. The interventions in code and the creative use of patterns transformed the site, bringing the experience closer to what Mundo Catnip represents: a universe of products for cats with personality, color and love.
